(This is a receiver only and will have a
separate dish positioner)
BUTTONS ON THE RECEVIER
- Power - On or Off
- Format - Used to select the reversed polarity when in (Galaxy), or normal
polarity when out (Satcom).
- Remote - Push in if a remote control is being used.
- Scan - Used to scan the horizontal channels when aiming the antenna.
- 6.8 - Push in to select that preset audio.
- 6.2 - Push in to select that preset audio.
- Manual - Push in to allow audio tuning, use with the audio tuning knob.
- Channel Up/Down - Used to change channels
KNOBS ON THE RECEIVER
- Audio Tune - Used to adjust the audio subcarrier frequency between 5.5 -
8.0 MHz
- Fine Tune - Used to adjust the fine tuning on a channel.
- Volume - Use to adjust the audio output of a signal when "Audio
A" output jack is connected.
METERS ON THE RECEIVER
- Signal Strength - Displays the strength of the signal received. Used as an
aid in aiming the dish or, as an overall indication of system performance.
- Center Tune - Used with the fine tune knob for indication of optimum
tuning on a channel.
