HOW TO PROGRAM A SATELLITE

These type of receivers do not go by satellite names, the customer should have a list of numbers that correspond to the satellites. (EX: Satellite 01 will be F1, 02 is F4, etc.).

1. Find a satellite number that the customer does not use.

2. Start on a satellite next to or near the satellite that is being programmed.

3. Go to a channel that is active on both the satellite you are starting from and the satellite

to be programmed.

4. Press selecT; display reads [‘SEL].

5. Press zero (0) twice; display reads [00] then [ID].

6. Press the ID code which is factory preset at 1, 2, 3; display reads [C##]. If 1, 2, 3 does not work then go to "How to Change the ID Code if it is Forgotten".

7. Follow the correct procedure:

[A] If you are starting from a satellite with the opposite polarity, tap the UP (east) or DOWN (west) button just until the picture is gone.

-Next, press the H/V button on the receiver one time to reverse the polarity; display reads [‘H EN] for normal polarity or [‘H OD] for reversed polarity.

-If there is a picture at this time and it is the correct satellite, then proceed to step 8; otherwise continue moving up or down.

[B] If you are starting from a satellite with the same polarity, then tap the UP (east) or DOWN (west) button until a different picture comes in. If the picture is correct, then proceed to step 8; otherwise continue moving.

8. To store the satellite: Press select, display reads [‘SEL]; press 1, 2; display reads [‘PP], then press the number of the satellite you are storing (from 1-33). Press select again; display reads [‘PP##] then [‘C##].

9. To exit the programming mode: Press select, display reads [‘SEL]; then zero (0) twice; display reads [‘C##].
